Your Business Has a Story: Tell It to Travelers on OptionTrip

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Every memorable trip is shaped by people behind the scenes. A small family hotel that welcomes guests by name. A local guide who knows the stories behind a neighborhood. A café that introduces visitors to a region’s food. A founder building a new way to move, stay, explore or travel more responsibly.

At OptionTrip, we believe those stories deserve to be heard alongside the practical information travelers use to plan their journeys. That’s why our editorial team is inviting travel-related businesses and local entrepreneurs to introduce themselves and pitch a story for our Travel News and destination coverage.

What kind of businesses can get in touch?

We welcome ideas from hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, tour operators, licensed local guides, transportation companies, travel technology founders, destination organizations, experience creators and other businesses that offer a genuine service to travelers. Established brands and small independent operators are equally welcome.

What makes a story worth telling?

We’re interested in the people, places and practical value behind a business: why it was started, what problem it solves, what makes the local area special, how customers experience its service, and what travelers should know before visiting. A good story may include a founder interview, a behind-the-scenes look, a useful destination guide or a detailed explanation of a service.

Original details, verifiable information and clear photography help us evaluate an idea. We particularly value stories that give readers more than an advertisement: useful travel advice, local knowledge, real experiences and clear facts.

Could a business have its own page on OptionTrip?

We’re also exploring an OptionTrip Business Stories format: dedicated profiles where a company could present its background, services, important updates and related travel information. This is a proposed editorial and partnership format, not a self-service product available for automatic activation today. Contact our team if you’d like to discuss a possible feature, profile or ongoing collaboration. We will explain what is currently possible and agree on the scope before proceeding.

How to introduce your company

  1. Tell us the name of your business, its city or region, and your official website.
  2. Briefly explain what you offer travelers and why the story matters.
  3. Share the name of a person available to answer questions, along with a way to reach them.
  4. If available, include original photos or links to materials you have permission to share.

You don’t need a finished press release. A genuine introduction is enough to start a conversation. Editorial submissions are reviewed individually; sending a pitch does not guarantee publication, a particular ranking, or future bookings.
